Flexibility is one of the core design principles of Multistack. In the rapidly changing world of (contract) logistics, predicting how volumes and processes will evolve in the coming years is challenging. When investing in equipment, it is essential to ensure it has the flexibility to adapt to these changes and continue to perform effectively. Therefore Roboworks has developed a modular inbound palletizing solution which has the following advantages:
Infeed with inclined belt
Multistacks modularity allows many different configurations to meet your specific needs. If you have sufficient space in you warehouse, the Multistack palletizer can be connected to the your unloading process with an inclined belt or a flexible roller conveyor. This is a robust and cost-effective solution, but the inclined conveyor typically has a maximum incline angle of 15 degrees and therefore a significant footprint.
Integrated carton lift
If you are looking for a more compact setup, Multistack can be delivered with an integrated carton lift. With this option, a flexible roller conveyor connects at approx 800mm with the Multistack infeed unit. This feature eliminates the need for inclined conveyors and Multistack can be placed much closer to the inbound doors, saving valuable warehouse space.
Multiple pallet outfeeds
In high volume inbound processes with relatively large cartons, Multistack might produce up to 40 pallets per hour. To decouple the palletizing process from the put away proces, sufficient full pallet buffer locations are required. For those specific cases, The Multistack outfeed module is available with a maximum of 3 parallel pallet outfeed lanes. Each lane can have multiple pallet locations creating sufficient full pallet buffer capacity.
Conclusion
Multistack is available with high- and low-level infeed, with or without pallet wrapper and with the required number of palletizing positions. It is a flexible and varsitile inbound palletizer that can be configured to your specific needs.
